WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump said he looked forward to meeting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney but reiterated that he did not think the U.S. needed Canada’s cars, energy or lumber and questioned what he called Canadian reliance on the U.S.
“That will be, most likely, my only question of consequence,” Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform shortly before Carney arrived at the White House.
