WASHINGTON – An FBI agent who tried to probe the U.S. immigration officer who fatally shot a 37-year-old U.S. citizen in Minneapolis earlier this month has resigned, the New York Times reported on Friday, citing sources.
The FBI agent was named Tracee Mergen. Earlier this month, Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three living in Minnesota, was shot dead in her car by federal agent Jonathan Ross.
